don't barf their dogs can prepare a special meal for them themselves every now
and then. Here you will find the recipe for a hearty rice-vegetable pan.
Lean meat, fresh fruits and vegetables, not too many carbohydrates - healthy eating
is all the rage. Many dog owners, who pay attention to the quality and origin
of the ingredients in their own diet, also do not want to feed the four-legged
family member any ready-made fast food. Thus cooking for the dog enjoys ever
larger popularity. Who wants to nourish its dog in the long run with
self-cooked, must argue however intensively with the topic dog nutrition, in
order to cover the actual nutrient need also really.
If you want to surprise your dog with a home-cooked meal every now and then,
here is the recipe for a tasty and well-tolerated rice-vegetable pan.

rice-vegetable pan
This tasty rice-vegetable pan for dogs is quick to prepare and very tasty for
most dogs. The quantities are based on a daily ration for a 15-kg dog. It is
best to feed the dish in two portions at your dog's usual feeding times.
Composition of the dish:
Approx. 40% organic chicken heart
Approx. 35% rice (carbohydrates)
Approx. 25% carrots and zucchini (vegetables)
1-2 tablespoons linseed oil
Optional: Food supplements for vitamins and minerals (follow manufacturer's
instructions for quantities)
Quantities for a daily ration (for a 15 kg dog)
175g raw organic chicken hearts
150g cooked rice
110g raw carrot and zucchini
1-2 tablespoons linseed oil

Preparation
Clean and grate carrots and zucchini.
Cook rice according to instructions (without salt).
Saute chicken hearts with 1-2 splashes of oil over medium heat for about 5
minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add shredded vegetables, stir and braise for about another 8-10 minutes.
Add the cooked rice and stir well.
Allow to cool to room temperature before feeding.
Mix in linseed oil (and supplements, if desired) just before feeding.
